To cater to the ever-increasing student strength, JnanaJyothiEvening Degree College has always taken proactive steps to provide various facilities to develop the infrastructure on campus in terms of classrooms, and sports, extracurricular, and co-curricular activities.

Digital Class Room

Digital classrooms are classrooms that utilize technology as a means of education. Using electronic devices and the internet, students can learn from the comfort of their homes. Such classrooms support both real-time and recorded learning and help teachers create a flexible class schedule.

Classrooms too can be thought of as a platform, and they certainly are no exception to increasing amounts of research and the pervasiveness of multimedia. They have not only changed the perspective of students towards studying but have also helped the teachers in preparing dynamic multimedia educational resources/lessons which can be interesting for students. Students prefer engaging, visually-stimulating, interactive educational materials that require them to collaborate with their peers and use an inquiry-based approach. This ability to focus is more important than IQ or the socioeconomic status of the family one grew up in for determining career success, financial success, and health.

Digital classes in classrooms are also great for the environment because paper use is either eliminated or significantly reduced. This method leads to more and deep learning. Effective relation can also be developed between students and teacher and also among students. They can share their ideas, experiences, and investigations. This method is effective for all students with low learning speed and even for those with high learning speed.

Library

Jnana Jyothi Evening Degree College has a well-equipped library with journals, magazines, newspapers, and e-resources for staff and student activities at the institute. Apart from textbooks, the library houses a growing collection of reference books, such as journals, dictionaries, encyclopedias, yearbooks, etc. Also, the library facilitates access to a number of e-journals and e-books through NLIST and INFLIBNET.

Library functions are automated with advanced library software (Easy Lib Web OPAC 6.2). 40 seats are accommodated at a time for the benefit of users.

Library Timings

Monday to Saturday : 5.00 PM to 8.30 PM

Library Rules & Regulations

Users must check in with Identity card at the entry. ID card is a must for all library transactions.
Bags, handbags and personal belongings are to be kept at the depository/property counter.
Students are prohibited to carry any book inside the reference section except loose sheets.
No person shall write on, damage or make any mark on any book, journal or other material belonging to the library.
Books should be handled with great care and mutilation of books in any manner will be heavily fined.
Students can retain the books for 10 days only, after which a fine of Rs.2/- per book per day will be chargeable.
Renewals are allowed only when there is no claim by others. Phone renewal entertained.
A borrowed book if recalled by the Librarian has to be returned immediately.
Cell phone is strictly prohibited.
Online reservation can be done for a book, which is already lent out. Reserved books are kept separately in circulation counter.
Maintain queue at the circulation counter and users should fully co-operate with the library staff.

Today the world has become a global village due to the fastest growing technology, The College provides internet accessibility to all the staff & students in the free hours i.e. except class hours and also our college provides high speed internet facility in order to promote the online activities as well as to promote the use of technology in today’s world.
